* Spent a week teaching feature writing to a bunch of high schoolers from all over the state at a camp sponsored by UGA's journalism school. Some of the kids were there because someone made them come (as I suspect is always the case with such things), but everyone was a good sport and some of the kids were just amazing -bright, funny, gifted. And we got to make a newspaper! I think they got a kick out of that.
* Two of my features are in the current issue of Athens Magazine.
* Recently filed the last of the stories I wrote for a UGA publication that will be out this fall - that was a huge project!
* Got to interview a lady today about gardens, and she served me tea. Not just tea, though - the whole service, complete with a 3-tiered tray of snacks and sweet dainty cups and saucers. Awesome.
